India School announces the start of the Virtual Summer 2025 six week session. First day of classes is Sunday, June 15, 2025. The Summer 2025 semester will run on Sundays from June 15, 2025 - July 27, 2025. Please see below for more details about the Summer Program and how to register for the upcoming Summer 2025 session.
The summer session will be available only as a virtual option on Sunday mornings.
The Year 2025 is very special! It marks the 52nd year anniversary of The India School!
Registration for the India School Summer 2025 session is now open. First day is Sunday, June 15, 2025, and the session ends Sunday July 27th, 2025. Classes are available for children and teens. Summer session is virtual only.

SUMMER 2025 Online Program: For Kids and Teens
This summer our online program offers a fun and engaging learning experience, focusing on Hindi language, Indian art, conversation and drama. Each class introduces a new subject, building upon the previous week's learning. Classes meet every Sunday. Light homework during the week.
**Weekly Curriculum:**
* **Week 1 (June 15): Hindi Language Fundamentals:** Introduction to Hindi consonants and vowels, basic word formation, and simple sentence construction. For older students, reading of text according to level.
* **Week 2 (June 22): Indian Art:** Exploration of various Indian art forms, including painting styles, sculpture, and traditional crafts. Hands-on activities will be included.
* **Week 3 & 4 (June 29, July 13): Conversation Skills:** Development of conversational Hindi through interactive exercises, role-playing, and group discussions. Focus will be on building fluency and confidence in speaking.
* **Week 5 & 6 (July20, 27): Indian Drama:** Introduction to Indian theatre and dramatic techniques. Activities will include short script readings, improvisation exercises, and basic acting techniques.
**Note:** July 6th, 2025 will be a holiday for Independence Day.
